ABOUT KITCHEN RENOVATION
At GLAD, we take pride in our extensive expertise in cabinet painting and refinishing. Our team is led by a passionate chemist who loves the transformation process and is constantly researching and testing new techniques to enhance the quality and durability of our work. We are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of both our staff and customers by using advanced systems that reduce solid particle and dust emissions to near zero, along with high-quality European paints.
Our journey began with the idea of making one of the most important spaces in any home more enjoyable and welcoming. For many people (myself included), the kitchen is the heart of the house. It’s where I prepare meals for my family, gather with loved ones daily, and welcome friends and guests. This space embodies warmth, family memories, and happiness.
Often, the kitchen we use today was the same one where our parents or even grandparents used to cook. Kitchens built before the 1990s were made with high-quality materials, especially solid wood, which makes preserving them a smart decision compared to the materials commonly used today. That’s why it’s essential to keep this space in excellent condition, both in appearance and cleanliness.
With that in mind, six years ago, I left my father’s residential painting business—where he has over 17 years of experience—and dedicated my time and effort to mastering techniques and materials that could deliver factory-quality finishes. My degree in chemistry played a key role in helping me select the best products, tools, and equipment to create a safe, efficient, and reliable painting process. Since then, I’ve been offering a kitchen renovation service where clients can avoid the mess of demolition, construction, and installation of new cabinets while benefiting from significantly lower costs.
So, how does GLAD work? After you choose the colors and any desired handle changes, our team removes all cabinet doors and drawer fronts and takes them to our workshop. There, we begin the process of cleaning, prepping, priming, painting, and drying. Using our specialized drying booth, the doors are “baked” to ensure the finish cures properly and effectively.
What about the cabinet frames? While they can’t be “baked,” we use a highly detailed masking and wrapping process to protect your home and ensure precision. With the help of our mobile exhaust system, we minimize dust and overspray as much as possible.
Once the doors and frames are completely dry, we reinstall the doors and align them perfectly, delivering a flawless and beautiful finish.
